In addition to the visit of the museum, outside the Fort, there is a marked circuit that will allow you to have an overview of the site, and to better understand the organization of this former penitentiary. You can then stroll through the vast and beautiful 11-hectare land, planted with flamboyant trees, as you travel between the architectural remains and the rehabilitated buildings of this historic site.

Throughout the tour, several viewpoints will allow you to admire the magnificent Bay of Teremba, the islets and the coral reef. Explanatory panels will show you the origin of the buildings, their uses at the time of the penitentiary and the materials used for their construction. Detailed sketches will allow you to better visualize some remains as they were at the time of the prison.
