Tour circuit

In addition to the visit of the museum, outside the Fort, there is a marked circuit that will allow you to have an overview of the site, and to better understand the organization of this former penitentiary. You can then stroll through the vast and beautiful 11-hectare land, planted with flamboyant trees, as you travel between the architectural remains and the rehabilitated buildings of this historic site.

Inside the Fort:

• the blockhouse with its museum (permanent exhibition)
• the prison with its cells (continuation of the permanent exhibition)
• The watchtower
• The powder magazine
• The officers' booth
• The stables
• The kitchen of the troops

Outside the Fort:

• The commander's house and kitchen
• The first barracks
• Post and telegraph offices
• The bakery
• The landing stage
• The construction workshops
